About the event

Are you aged between 11-17 and eager to participate in conservation efforts whilst making a positive impact to local wildlife? Join our Youth Rangers group, where we offer practical activities and volunteering opportunities for teenagers. These are the perfect way to get experience in conservation whilst meeting like minded people.

We meet every 3rd Saturday of the month, 11am-1pm, in Northamptonshire (usually Summer Leys or Nene Wetlands)

Please email Nicole.Schreiner@wildlifebcn.org for all the information and to book your place.

These activities do not require a guardian to accompany, however bookings are not confirmed until we have received your completed paperwork and consent form (for each attendee).

Please bring water and dress appropriately for the weather - layers and waterproofs if needed. Long sleeves and trousers recommended. Please wear sensible boots or wellies.

CAR PARKING: Car parking charges now apply for Summer Leys. Parking for members of the Wildlife Trust BCN is FREE - Members MUST register their vehicles to access free parking, for more information please visit here. Non-Members can pay at the parking machine on the day (card payments only).

Mobility

We usually work in bumpy, grassy and overgrown areas so unfortunately these sessions are not suitable for wheelchair users, or those with mobility issues. We use tools such as loppers and bosaws, so some strength in the hands and arms is required. Please do get in contact if you have any questions.
