About the event

Did you know there are over 200 species of solitary bee in the UK?! They are fantastic pollinators, are non-aggressive and are great to have in your garden. Several species, including leafcutter and mason bees like to nest in cavities and by building them a nest box you will be helping them to thrive in your garden.

In this session, we will help you construct your own bee nest box to take home and provide more information about how you can help the bees in your garden.

Involves the use of hand tools so close adult supervision is required. Please purchase a ticket for each box you would like to build. For example, if you would like to build a single bee box as a family, you only need to purchase one ticket.
