About the event
Did you know that it's important to feed garden birds throughout the year, including over the summer when young birds will be learning how to find their own food and parent birds need extra energy to recover from rearing their chicks.
In this session, we will help you construct your own wooden jam jar holder and then fill a jar to go inside, full of tasty treats for the birds.
Involves the use of hand tools so close adult supervision is required. Please purchase a ticket for each box you would like to build. For example, if you would like to build a single bee box as a family, you only need to purchase one ticket.
