Volunteer work party - Mark Hamblin/2020VISION

Come and join one of our work parties in Beds for a wildlife work-out. It’s a good way to get some fresh air, keep fit and make a huge difference for local wildlife, helping us in our work to build and maintain a nature recovery network.

Position details

Commitment:

Weekdays, Weekends, Any Day

Work parties take place on many of our nature reserves, as well as other sites across the county. They are a great way to get hands-on to help wildlife in your local area, and help us to achieve a #WilderFuture where nature and people can thrive.

Generally no skills are needed as training and tools are provided. You will need to wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear and bring something to eat and drink. Please contact the task leader of the work party you are interested in before attending, as they can provide you with directions and other details.

The Midweek Volunteer group is run by Trust staff and usually has capacity for new volunteers. The smaller, reserve-based work parties are more informal and infrequent.

Check out the list below for what is happening near you and for who to contact. Please note that it is possible that the venue for any of the tasks can change at short notice so please check with the task leader before setting off.

Bedfordshire Mid-Week Volunteers
