Video: Beaver release at the Nene Wetlands

Here is the moment beavers returned to Northamptonshire for the first time in 400 years. The family were translocated by experts at Beaver Trust and released by our team into a 17-hectare fenced enclosure. Mum Boudica and dad Alan are now making their home at Delta Pit close to the Rushden Lakes shopping centre. Thank you to Anglian Water - Love Every Drop which has supported this project through its Get River Positive fund.
