About the event

Our Monthly Meanders at Trumpington Meadows are regular themed guided walks. Come every month - with the change of the seasons there is always something exciting to see!   

July is a great time to spot some of the 28 species of butterfly we see on the reserve. We'll be particularly looking for purple and white-letter hairstreaks, and second brood small blues.  

The walk will cover around 2 to 3 miles, and will be mainly on gravel paths or grass paths. Bring binoculars if you have them, or let us know in advance if you would like to borrow a pair. As this walk starts a bit later than usual and goes over lunch, please bring a packed lunch or a snack if you need to.  

This walk is suitable for adults and older children. Please get in touch if you want to discuss.
