About the event

This is part of a series of Wild in the Meadows family sessions based at Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve on Thursdays during school holidays and on Saturdays during the warmer months.

In this session, join the Rangers for an adventure on Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve. We'll meet at the picnic tables near the office before walking together to the pond. Pond dipping is a fantastic way to learn about what lives in fresh water - insects, fish, amphibians and more! The children will get a net and a tray to use and the Rangers will be on hand to help identify what they find.

This session is perfect for families with primary-aged children, for safety reasons it is not suitable for children under 5. Booking is essential so we know how many nets to bring.
