Event details
About the event
This is part of a series of Wild in the Meadows family sessions based at Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve on Thursdays during school holidays and on Saturdays during the warmer months.
In this session, join Becca Badger for an adventure on Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve. We'll go on a family walk with a focus on spotting birds, especially our summer migrants like swifts and swallows. We'll discuss the clues you can use to identify birds, like their song, shape, or habitat, and how we look after them on our nature reserves. You can also get tips on what you can do to take action for birds. We can lend you some binoculars for the duration of the session.
This session is perfect for families with primary-aged children but older and younger siblings will enjoy them.
