About the event

The Fens are the great lost English wilderness. Well known for their eels, and birdlife, the Fens were also home to a unique assemblage of butterflies. Edward Pollard, county butterfly recorder for Cambridgeshire, will talk about the lost lepidoptera, but also hopes for what might return as part of on-going restoration activities.

Please note: The talk will be preceded by a short (approx. 10-minute) AGM of the Ely Local Group
