About the event

This event is part of a series of short, monthly walks, led by Communities and Education Officer Rebecca Neal, around Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve. They are on different days, and times (around the middle of the month), to enable as many people as possible to get involved throughout the year. We walk at a leisurely pace on flat paths, taking around an hour to go 1-2 miles. We stop to discuss whatever wildlife comes along, and focus on common species. (Additional walks, which are more in-depth and longer, are available on the second Monday of the month)

These walks are aimed at adults, but interested older children are welcome.

Additional information

  • Most paths around Trumpington Meadows are surfaced, but we may make use of more rustic paths on the edge of the reserve, or in the nearby wood
  • There is no access to toilets on this site
  • Please refer to our event terms and conditions webpage for details on refunds and cancellations, as well as general information about how we run our events
