About the event

Perfect for homeschooled teens, these regular Forest School sessions at Summer Leys are a great way to get outdoors and experience our natural world, learning new skills and meeting new people. We will be getting stuck into a range of Forest School activities such as bushcraft, nature exploration, survival skills and more, providing opportunities to connect to the natural world to aid in development and learning.

These 2 sessions will be run on the following Thursdays: 5th and 19th December (10:30am-12:30pm).

  • These sessions are aimed at 11-17 year olds
  • Adult supervision is required and you can get involved in the fun or simply enjoy your time in nature (we have logs available for sitting but please feel free to bring a camping chair if you'd prefer).
  • Did you know members of The Wildlife Trust BCN can save £6.50 per session? By signing up as a member you can access free parking (minimum charge £4) plus a discount on your tickets. More info can be found here.
  • If you can no longer make a session you've booked please drop us a message to let us know.

PLEASE NOTE: Car parking charges now apply for Summer Leys. Parking for members of the Wildlife Trust BCN is FREE - Members MUST register their vehicles to access free parking, for more information please visit here
