About the event
Carve your own pumpkin and then learn how to use the leftovers to make tasty soup and snacks!
Pumpkins are great to eat, as well as carve, but every year approximately 13 million pumpkins in the UK are simply thrown away and wasted!
Join the Wildlife Trust BCN in the Rushden Lakes community garden (adjacent to AJ cycles) as part of the 'Grow, Cook, Eat!' project and learn how you can get the most from your pumpkin, reducing waste and helping the planet at the same time!
This activity is most suitable for ages 6+. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
