Bat numbers are in decline across the UK. Help them thrive in your garden by building them a bat box!
Event details
About the event
In the UK, bat populations have declined considerably over the last century. Bats are still under threat due to lots of different factors including habitat loss and loss of suitable roost sites.
In this session, we will help you construct your own bat box take home and provide more information about how you can help bats in your garden.
Involves the use of hand tools so close adult supervision is required. Please purchase a ticket for each box you would like to build. For example, if you would like to build a single bee box as a family, you only need to purchase one ticket.
Most suitable for ages 5+
