About the event

Strawberry Hill is a unique site that has been rewilding itself for more 30 years after the previous farmer stopped harvesting crops and let nature take its course.

It is now home to the largest area of scrub in Central England which is ideal habitat for nightingales, turtle doves, cuckoos, warblers and a host of other species.

It's a very special place which we have been working to save for the past two years. We are now fundraising to complete the purchase of the site and ensure it is secure for wildlife and people forever.

Brian Eversham, Wildlife Trust BCN CEO, will talk about the history and nature of the site and how we plan to protect it in the future. There will also be a virtual tour of the site and footage of some of the wildlife we've already seen there, with time at the end for questions.
