Pitsford Wildlife Week

We're celebrating 50 years of this reserve being managed by the Wildlife Trust with a week-long festival of wildlife. We'll have events including exhibitions, workshops, guided walks and lots of ways to get hands-on with the wildlife residents. It's a great way to get to know one of our wildest reserves, and we're looking forward to welcoming you!

About Pitsford Water

Pitsford Reservoir was built to supply Northampton with water in 1955. Today the Trust leases the northern section of the reservoir, managing the area for wildlife in partnership with the owners, Anglian Water. This designated area can be enjoyed by obtaining a permit, which members of the Wildlife Trust BCN get for free. Read more
