About us

Our Members

The Wildlife Trust BCN has always been a grassroots organization, initially formed by volunteers and supported by members dedicated to protecting the wildlife and wild places of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire. We now have over 1000 volunteers and over 34,000 members, whose support forms the backbone of our charity.

Protecting wild places

Thanks to our members, 95% of the population of Beds, Cambs & Northants now live within 5 miles of a Trust nature reserve.

Thanks to our members we have been able to set up nine huge Living Landscape projects that are re-connecting wild places.

A voice for nature

With over 800,000 members across the UK, the Wildlife Trusts movement has a collective voice that can lobby government to protect nature.
