Event details
About the event
A Walk in the Park is a programme of easily accessible walks for all ages running monthly in Luton (every first Wednesday of the month).
A Walk in the Park provides an opportunity to:
- Boost your health and well-being whilst taking a short walk around a natural space and practice some mindfulness in nature.
- Explore green spaces in Luton.
- Meet like-minded people and make new friends.
Learn about the natural world and opportunity to share your own knowledge or experiences.
The aim of the programme is to encourage exploration of scenic parks and green spaces right on your doorstep, at the heart of Luton.
The walks will be led by staff of Wildlife Trust Bedfordshire and volunteers.
For this walk we will explore an ancient woodland - Bramingham Wood! We are hoping that the bluebells will be on show too!
All ages welcome!
Please dress for the outdoors, including suitable footwear for soft paths.
The accessibility at Bramingham Wood can be limited due to uneven/ muddy paths. Please get in touch if you have any mobility concerns or questions about the walk.
We will meet at the Sainsbury's Car Park (Quantock Rise, Luton LU3 4AB). Meeting at the main Sainsbury's car park next to Bramingham Park Church for 2pm and returning at the car park for 3.30pm.
