Event details
About the event
Voluntary Wardens and local experts will lead walks around the local Wildlife Trust’s largest Ancient Wood. The bluebells and many other spring wildflowers should be blooming. Hopefully some of the summer migrant birds will be heard and possibly seen. The history and management of the Site of Special Scientific Interest will be explained.
Depending on the number of visitors, there will probably be a choice of routes and walk lengths. The ground is very likely to be wet and muddy in places: stout footwear is recommended.
