About the event

Nature is quick to seize an opportunity and it’s therefore no surprise that a rich variety of wildlife can be found in our urban environments, ranging from fence-hopping garden escapee plants to the Peregrine Falcons that have swapped cliff-faces for Cathedral rooftops.

Ely Local Group will explore the wildlife to be found in some of the City’s streets and green spaces, from wall-dwelling lichens and plants to the bats that hunt over Cherry Hill.
