About the event

Join us in this beautiful ancient woodland (a remnant of the Rockingham Forest) on the outskirts of Corby and learn more about nocturnal wildlife.

Late summer is a great time to look and listen for bats as they look for mates and feed up ready for the winter. Your guide will explain how bats find their food and show you how to use a bat detector before you head off through the woods to look and listen for bats and other nocturnal wildlife.

Please bring a torch and wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Insect repellent is recommended.

Suitable for beginners and children aged 7+

This walk is being delivered by the Wildlife Trust BCN and funded as part of the Rockingham Forest Vision Project: https://www.rockinghamforest.org.uk/events
