Luton & Bedfordshire Youth Rangers - Bradgers Hill, Luton
About the event
Youth Rangers is a volunteer conservation group for young people aged 12-17 years old. We meet monthly at various Luton & Bedfordshire Nature Reserves and would love to welcome you to our group. Joining us will give you the opportunity to make new friends and acquire new skills whilst helping to protect and improve the local environment.
These sessions are designed for participants to attend independently, so once an adult has signed the young person in, they can be left in our care until collection. To help us properly prepare for the session, we do ask all young people to pre-book their place for the session.
This month we'll be inviting the Youth Forum to Luton. Who will join us on Bradgers Hill to identify butterflies. Opportunity to join the Youth Forum meeting after the walk and lunch.
Please come dressed appropriately for the session, ideally wearing long sleeves, long trousers and sturdy footwear. We also recommend you bring a waterproof jacket in case of rain. You do not need any experience or equipment to attend. Just bring along a water bottle with you. Hot and cold drinks and biscuits will be provided free of charge at break time. Pizza will be available for lunch for those that wish to stay longer and after lunch you are welcome to remain and find out more about the Trust’s Youth Forum.
You will receive an email with further guidance prior to the session but if you have any questions in the meantime, please do get in touch with Community and Education Manager, Matt at matt.sutcliffe@wildlifebcn.org. or on 07874 895633
