Communities and Education Volunteering
Get involved in our community engagement programmes and help people connect with local wildlife. This work is vital in helping more people access the wildlife on their doorstep, and ensuring future generations feel empowered to protect the natural environment.
Opportunities come up throughout the three counties and could include:
- Working in one of our Visitor Centres (both in Northamptonshire)
- Assisting the team at family events during school holidays
- Helping to run walks, talks and specialist events
- Delivering education sessions to visiting schools
- Assisting with light conservation-based work as part of our Youth Rangers programme
- And many more…
Experience required
No previous experience is necessary - all you need is an enjoyment of working with people of all ages, a friendly manner, and a real interest in local wildlife. NB some roles will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
