We were delighted to run events at Trumpington Meadows this year introducing attendees to photography. The guided walks, run as part of Campkins Camera's Cambridge Photography Week, 2-7 October, showcased the wildlife and wild vistas of the reserve, and were run by our recruiter and keen photographer Paul Wyer.
The Wildlife Trust is a keen supporter of photographers, and our annual photography competition attracts hundreds of entries. Many of our nature reserves, including Trumpington Meadows, are frequented by keen amateur photographers as they provide amazing backdrops and the opportunity to photograph a wide range of species from invertebrates to birds of prey.
The winning images from our 2023 competition have been made into our 2024 calendar, on sale now, and next year's competition will be open for entries soon.
Look out for more photography events and opportunities in the coming months.
