Forest School for Teens at the Nene Wetlands (Block of 10)

These regular Forest School sessions, aimed at 11-17 year olds who are home educated, provide opportunities to get stuck into a range of Forest School activities, from bushcraft and survival skills to nature connection, to learn new skills and aid in development.

About the event

Taking place in the wonderful setting of our Nene Wetlands education area, these Forest School sessions are a great opportunity for young people to get outdoors and learn new skills, such as outdoor cooking, fire lighting, safe knife use, wildlife ID etc. whilst also developing self confidence, social skills and respect for nature.

Members of the Wildlife Trust BCN are eligible for a disount on these sessions (equivalent to 2 free sessions). If you would like to know more about supporting the Wildlife Trust and becoming a member, visit: Become a member | Wildlife Trust for Beds, Cambs & Northants (wildlifebcn.org)

Sessions are currently planned for the following dates and times but please contact Hannah Persaud (hannahepersaud@gmail.com) to confirm and for any further information. Ticket price includes use of venue, all tools and equipment and refreshments/ingredients.

Hannah will be running the sessions and will send out more information prior to them starting. In purchasing your ticket, you are giving permission for us to share your details with Hannah so that she can contact you with any relevant information regarding these sessions.

What to bring

Please wear suitable clothing for the weather, we recommend sturdy shoes and waterproofs. You may wish to bring a drink and snack although we will have some hot drinks available.
