Congratulations to all the winners of our photography competition, sponsored by OM Digital Solutions, in association with Campkins Cameras. Our 2024 competition celebrates the wildlife and wild places of Beds, Cambs and Northants on the theme 'nature all around'.
The competition was free to enter, and open to all ages. There were three categories: Youth, for under 18s; People and Nature; and Flora and Fauna. One overall winner was chosen from the category winners, and these, plus 21 additional winning images, will feature in our 2025 calendar.

Prizes
There are four prizes to be won.
Each category winner will receive £130 of their choice of equipment from long-term supporters Opticron.
One overall winner will be chosen from the category winners to also receive the top prize of an OM5 + 12-40mm kit, which has an SRP of £1,799 at time of publishing, generously donated by our competition sponsors OM Digital Solutions, in association with Campkins Cameras.
As well as the great prizes above, all winners, and 21 additional images, will feature in the 2025 BCN calendar.
Theme and categories
The theme for this year’s 2024 Photography Competition is Nature all around.
Within this theme entrants will be required to submit their image(s) under one of the following categories
Flora and Fauna
Images of wildlife, plant life, fungi, landscapes, etc. - if it’s wild and from our three counties we want to see.
People and Nature
Could you snap a great shot of people enjoying a nature reserve? Or a child's fascination with a ladybird or snail on their hand? Is there an urban fox that frequents your garden? We'd love to see how nature and people co-exist for you in our three counties.

Youth
For those under 18, we’re interested to see your interpretations and visions of nature all around.
Please note if you are under 18 years of age you will need a parent or guardian to submit your images on your behalf. For more information, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
Judges
A panel of judges including representatives from the Wildlife Trust BCN, OM Digital Solutions and/or Campkins Cameras and Opticron will be assembled to judge the entries anonymously. Judging will take place in the summer of 2024. All winners will be notified by the end of June 2024. The judges' decisions are final.
