Photo Competition - changing colours

The 2018 Photo Competition is open for entries

After the success of the 2017 Photography Competition and subsequent 2018 calendar, the 2018 Wildlife Trust BCN Photography Competition is now open for entries. The competition is open to anyone of any age, and is for photographs of wildlife or landscapes taken in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire or Northamptonshire on the theme of the changing colours of nature.


The winners will be chosen by an independent panel of judges. All the winners will feature in the 2019 Wildlife Trust BCN calendar, and the best will also receive great prizes courtesy of our partners Opticron, providers of optical equipment.


Sarah Lambert – Ecological consultant and botanist
Sarah is a longstanding member of the Wildlife Trust BCN and volunteer. She leads guided walks, is active with Peterborough local group and ecology groups, and regularly contributes photographs to the Trust.

Becky Stock – Trustee of the Wildlife Trust BCN
Becky recently became a trustee, and has a marketing and fundraising background. She is a keen amateur photographer.

Chris Galvin – Representative of Opticron, sponsor of the competition prizes
Besides his day job, Chris is a keen birdwatcher and accomplished wildlife photographer.

How to enter

Each competitor can enter up to three photographs taken in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire or Northamptonshire. If you are under 18 you must have permission from your parent or guardian. By entering the competition, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions – please make sure you have read them in full.
