This role is central to the delivery of the Wilder Luton project. You will work closely with the Communities and Education Manager and the wider Trust team to deliver key outcomes over the 3 years of the project.

Engagement with young people is central to the project, as will be the organisation and delivery of paid traineeships and shorter, practical activities to improve participants’ wellbeing and help to create a path to a career or further training in conservation and other land-based industries.

You will work closely with local partner organisations in Luton to reach underrepresented audiences and lay the foundations for greater community involvement in caring for the area’s natural heritage for years to come, all the time evaluating against the key aims of the project.

The role also has a small portion of time dedicated to engagement in wider Bedfordshire to reach more people across the county through youth events, walks, talks and workshops.
