Location: Dogsthorpe star pit, Hodney Road, Nr Eye, Cambridgeshire
It is a good time of year for dragonflies and wild flowers and there may be the opportunity to visit the ponds on the reserve floor, which support rare stoneworts.

Meeting point

Park in Hodney Road (TF 215 029) and walk across to the reserve entrance. Please do not park at the entrance to the reserve in White Post Road as farmers may need access.

About the event

A two hour guided walk round this important brownfield reserve with the warden, taking in areas of grassland, scrub and wetland. The paths are mainly formed from brick chippings and undulate with some moderately steep slopes. Please wear stout shoes or boots.
