About the event

Kombisketchtour is an artists' collaboration to celebrate the natural world through the tradition of observational drawing. Meeting weekly the duo venture into the countryside and places of natural interest recording the changing seasons through sketches. The team are regularly artists in residence in schools, nature reserves, parks and road side verges.

Track the changes in season with this exploration of flora and fauna through drawing. Artists Maxine Greer and Jane Hindmarch take you on a visual journey through Old Sulehay nature reserve. Capturing the essence of the season in a series of drawing exercises you will explore, line, colour, tone and mark-make with a range of exciting materials. Come away with a visual feast of sketches recording the wildflowers of the moment, as well as creating a book of sketches. ‘Nature Sketch’ is suitable for all abilities from the aspiring artist to those with more experience.
